Thoughts and (soon!) a book by Lyle Lewis

Drawing on over 30 years experience with the Bureau of Land Management, US Forest Service, and US Fish & Wildlife Service, Lyle Lewis analyzes humanity through the lens of an endangered species biologist working at the interface between academics, bureaucracy and industry. Seeing humans as an imperiled species now functionally extinct, he looks back at the long history of humans, seeing us as an evolutionary aberration precipitating the sixth mass extinction (with us included).
